Snowboarding

Spring can officially come now. We went snowboarding at least once this winter, which for me it has been since high school. Kelly canyon was cheap and had really good boarding. It was fun to hang out with Eli. Luckily, he was extra patient with me. He went about the speed of a snail to "keep up" with me. By the last couple runs, I had caught on and it was loads better, but unfortunately my legs were pure jello so we left. I think one of the best parts was undo-ing the bindings and sitting on the board like a tobagon riding it back to the lodge. Good times, Good times!!

Ah 'sigh' the happy couple.

My Best Friends Wedding

Ha ha I thought the title was pretty creative, since you know it's a movie title. Do ya get it huh? huh? :) Okay maybe it wasn't that cool after all. But I couldn't pass up the chance to post a few pics of Chelsie (the former Barthlome) Stuart on her wedding day. They got married in the Logan Temple. She looked absolutely gorgeous as usual. It's funny how you can live miles apart from someone and when you do talk, even if it is only twice a year, you can pick up right where you left off. Much to my dismay, she moved our sophmore year of high school, but she's still been one of my very best friends since. If you don't mind a tiny jog down memory lane but a few memories stick out on just how creepily alike we are. We bought the exact same dress without even a word that we were even going dress shopping. We ended up wearing it the same day too. Both with crimped hair none the less. We also looked at each others scrapbook and noticed we did almost the exact same page, the same pics, captions and everything. They say great minds think alike. Just some funny memories. I am so happy for her and Louie, and look forward to continue our semi-annual great conversations .

You always have to include a kissy picture. Her mom and Step-Dad are in the back kissing too. Way to be creative photographer woman. I thought it was a cute idea.

The happy couple.
The luncheon was great too. Although, Axel wasn't the ultimate angel he usually is ;) He slapped the waitress's arm when she came by, and kept throwing everything, spilling everything, and not eating one single thing. Boy,I love teething time.

The Best Two Years

Well as for one AWESOME batch of great news. We just heard this weekend that Alex Hubbard (Eli's little bro) got his mission call to the Phoenix Arizona Mission. He reports to the MTC on May 12th. It came as quite a shock to the parents, since he did it all in secret, and even went the extra mile to throw them off his scent. I felt so bad here they are thinking he's going to fall away and the whole time he's putting his papers in. What a snot but we are so proud of him, and I just thought I would let everyone know so whether you know him or not you can be excited for him too. :) I wish I had some better pics of just him stored on my computer but still here are a few good ones.
Aah (sigh) Momma and her baby boy. Abby is also in the picture.
Axel's first birthday party. He loves getting his picture taken if you can't tell. No wonder I don't have hardly any pics of him. Ken and Shani are also in the pic and Lisa again.

One of my favorites. Dad and all the brothers with the hogs. Alex is the one in the aviator sunglasses. Jarom is on the left and Eli with his blazing jacket is in the middle. He is a magnificent son of a gun. (a 30 rock joke for those of you who have seen that episode) Too bad Alex never made it past Rexburg on this Harley trip cause he got the flu hard core, so he stayed behind at our house.

Lois Lane and Clark Kent

Famous Couples throughout history was the theme for our ward dance. We thought a lot about who we could be and came up with JFK and Marilyn Monroe...it even went further that another couple in our ward would be JFK's bodyguard and his wife would go as Jackie Kennedy then we would have the whole drama...but considering it was a church function we figured it would be better to go as something else. Then it struck me...who is Eli's favorite super hero? Superman and he had a woman. Perfect. Plus we've been watching Smallville quite a bit and this seemed to fit a ton better. So, we came up with great costumes I thought. We even have daily planet press passes..how cool is that? We even had Eli do the curl on his forehead even though it is hardly noticable. The dance rocked. I think this is the first dance I have been to since we got married. It was awesome to bust a move without worrying about losing potential dates because of it. It helps that Eli thinks I am pretty wonderful and vice versa. There was Fred and Wilma Flintstone, Gomez and Morticia Addams, Alf Alfa and Darla, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Mickey and Minnie Mouse, and Bonnie and Clyde just to name a few.
Ready to go save the world...and I'll be there to write about it!

Baby #2

So, if you draw you're attention to the right you will see the gadget that resembles an alien life form..yes that would be our good news. We are having Baby #2! So, I was going to take a picture of my pregnant belly and post it for all to see....NOT. Not that I am opposed to pregnant belly pictures..but when your right out of the shoot (aka first prego) and there is no belly except the spare tire I've been sporting around then no one wants to see that. Anyways, we are beyond excited, so I thought I would share the news so you could be excited with us.
