The Catch Up

So, I'll just come right out and say this blog entry is going to be random. The pictures are not in the right order and my back hurts and frankly I am too lazy to try to move them because it is a pain in the butt. So, I'll just explain what has been going on the last couple months in a random order.
First off, we took a harley trip with Niel and Lisa, and Jarom and Melissa, and all the kids to Bear Tooth. The boys took the harleys and the girls and kids were in the rig. This is one of the views we saw from our hotel room. It was beautiful. Another view we got was a huge herd of buffalo coming through town right in the backyard of our hotel. It was wild...literally ha ha get it wild buffalo...do you get it :) just kidding. Anyways here's the happy harley family. P.S. did I mention that Axel is obsessed with motorcycles. He'll cry and cry if someone leaves without him on a motorcycle, especially Dad, or Grandpa.

This one is us moving out of Wagon Wheel Apartments after two years and moving out of Rexburg after over 3 years. Just 10 minutes north to St. Anthony but moving nonetheless. Eli got a job with Fremont County. Just temporary cause soon we will be off to grad school but that is for another blog when we know for sure. So, these are our neighbors, the Baugh's, our sister Sam, and Eli and me, the fat lady! Needless to say I was a ton of help.
This is our new house we are renting in St. Anthony. Dad's on the porch, my nephews Pacen and Braxton are on the sidewalk and Arthur Yuan our other fantastic neighbor helping us move is in the shadows of the doorway and Aaron May, our other-other fantastic neighbor is by the tree. It was a lot easier move thanks to everyone who helped, rather than our move to Wagon wheel where the moving crew consisted of Eli, Sam, Mariah, Mom, and me 8 months prego...so I was a ton of help then too. Eli wanted to write a book called the power of 4 women and one man. ha ha

That is quite the load but we got it all in one shot. :)

This is Axel's Two year mark. He got Woody and Buzz and was so excited. He loves Toy Story and playing with cars, so he also fell in love with his new race track he got. sniff sniff my little boy is growing up.

This is our annual girl party. We ate at Texas Roadhouse and then went to a movie, which even included Mariah taking surprise pictures of everyone while they were on the pot...aka on the toilet not on pot as in marijiana. We are crazy enough without that stuff. :) What a gorgeous bunch of women we are.
A random pic of Axel doing his airplane impression noise and all. He makes this face a lot!

This is Axel's birthday cake. They are cupcakes and I was pretty proud of making it for the first time all by myself. They were tasty.

Here we are...the young lovers. ha ha This is back on our bear tooth trip. It was a great time.

This is on the trip. The view is from the top of Bear Tooth Pass. Axel was not a happy camper most of the trip. A combo of teething and the terrible two's I guess. But luckily we had the toy story movies in the rig and so driving he was okay.

This is at the cody wyoming dam. It gave my stomach a turn looking straight down...or was that Grady...either way my stomach was doing flip flops.
And it wouldn't be summer without all the family pictures. This is my family picture but it is really blurry on the blog. It did turn out much better than it looks. You can even click on it to make it bigger to see the details of how good-looking we all are. :)

And this is a closeup of how well the Hubbard family pics turned out. Looks like Axel likes pictures as much as Eli does but Eli can't outwardly show it like Axel does.

This is the view from Chief Joseph Highway. I rode the harley with Eli up the mountain with tons of switchbacks. It was gorgeous.

And the final picture is Axel and his true love...the Harley. He will push Niel's leg and say "Go, go" and point to the harley. He will even grab his hands to put them on the steering wheel if they try to just sit him on the bike instead of an official ride. Grandpa took him for a ride then made the mistake of driving away without Axel at his birthday party. Axel ran after him heartbroken and sobbing. It was sad. But he forgot about it when we lit his candles to blow out on the cake. What a goober.
So, until next time....which could be a while.....
